This weekend, two teams from Nyack headed to Rockland Lake to beat multiple sclerosis.
and raised money and awareness to combat the disease, with their efforts culminating in April 28's 2012 Walk MS Rockland County.
Elena Williams, a Nyacker with MS and namesake for Team Elena, raised $1,340 herself; her family and friends brought in an additional $4,000.
