Before coming to Patch, Kevin wrote for The Journal News, Roadbike Magazine and several other periodicals, both in print and online.

Kevin graduated Franklin and Marshall College—located in southern Pennsylvania—with degrees in writing and history. While in school, he was editor-in-chief of the independent campus newspaper The College Reporter. As editor, he launched the paper's first-ever website and helped garner the Reporter several awards from the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association (PNA).
