With the holidays and the weekend overlapping this year, not many places are open for business in the coming days.

Here's your guide to what's open, what's closed and when things will be back to normal:

Schools

  • South Orangetown Schools are closed for winter recess and reopen Tuesday, Jan. 3.

Libraries

  • closes at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24 and reopens Tuesday, Dec. 27. It closes again at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31 and reopens Tuesday, Jan. 3.

Government

Transit

  • NJ Transit—Pascack Valley Line that services Spring Valley, Nanuet and Pearl River will be running on the Weekend/Major Holiday schedule on Monday, Dec. 26 and Monday, Jan. 2.
