Thanks to the holidays, the majority of the Indians and Vikings had the weekend off, but several local athletes did travel into the Bronx on Sunday to compete in the Manhattan Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park.

Nyack competed in the Varsity A competition and the Indians were led by senior Julio Melendez and sophomores David Gates and Ahmed Ahmed.
Clarkstown South competed in the Varsity C competition and the Vikings were led by Robert Arbuco and Mike Guglielmo, both who finished in the top 30 of the race.

Like teams in the area, the athletes have Monday off due to Columbus Day but both Nyack and Clarkstown South High School will be back to a full slate of games on Tuesday.
