Nyack Hospital Sponsors 20th Annual 10K Run/5K Walk

to Benefit Joint Replacement Center

"Are you looking for an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful fall weather?  Come to the 20th Annual Nyack Hospital 10K Run and 5K Walk scheduled for Saturday, November 20.  This year, funds raised will benefit The Joint Replacement Center.  The registration fee is $25 in advance; $30 on the day of the race. 

Participants will enjoy a certified scenic loop course through the Village of Nyack, beginning and ending at Nyack Hospital.  The event features computerized race results, spotters on the walk course, water stations, refreshments and same day race results posted on the internet. Awards are presented to the top 3 finishers in designated age categories.

High School Seniors (best male and best female) are eligible for the annual Robert Cifuni, Jr. Scholarship. Students not yet Seniors will receive the scholarship in their Senior year.

Nyack Hospital Urologist Leonard J. Rudin, MD, who championed this event 20 years ago, is once again serving as Chair Emeritus.  Co-Chairing the run are Nyack Hospital Orthopedic Surgeon Richard D. Semble, MD and Podiatrist Charles J. Wolff, DPM.
