A Bruisin’ at Cruzin’ Classic
Taylor Wilson of Pearl River had 15 points and seven rebounds, and Jen McSharar of Garnerville had a team-high 11 rebounds, but the Manhattanville College women’s basketball team lost its second game at the Cruzin’ Classic in Fort Lauderdale, FL, falling to Virginia Wesleyan (7-2), 79-67.
McSharar, a North Rockland graduate, fell one basket short of her third straight double-double for the Valiants.

Manhattanville (3-7, 0-2 Freedom Conference) was hosting New Jersey City at Kennedy Gym on Thursday night, and then breaks until Jan. 4 when it visits Purchase College for a game at 6 p.m.
