The Nyack field hockey team took part in a “pink game” to raise breast cancer awareness at Pearl River. The local soccer teams both won as the Viking boys defeated Ramapo on the road and girl’s team won at home. Clarkstown south won their volleyball game while Nyack lost in a competitive four set match at Nanuet.

Game: Nyack @ Pearl River
Score: Nyack Won 4-0
Highlights: Nyack and Pearl River joined forces to show their support for breast cancer research as they played for the cure in a “Pink Game”. Nyack was victorious as they used four different players to score in the 4-0 victory, but whenever young athletes join together to play for a cause they are all winners.

Game: Clarkstown South @ Ramapo
Score: Clarkstown South Won 3-1
Highlights: After a scoreless first half the Vikings came out on fire to win the game 3-1. Kurt Diffley had two goals while Nick Laurent added one and Aldair Gonzalez led the defense with 7 saves.

Score: Clarkstown South Won 2-0
Highlights: Brianna McMahon led the Viking offense with a goal and an assist, Olivia Szeker-Cortes added a goal while Jill Murawski pitched a shut out with 7 saves.

Game: Nyack @ Nanuet
Score: Nyack Lost 3-1
Highlights: Nanuet defended their home court against the Indians in a hard fought 3-1 win. Nanuet was led by Nia Diaz’s 14 kills and Caitlin Lenihan’s 13 along with Victoria Serra’s 12 assists. Sophia Owens had 2 kills and 13 assists in a losing effort for Nyack.

Game: Ramapo @ Clarkstown South
Score: Clarkstown South Won 3-0
Highlights: Clarkstown South looked dominant against Ramapo on Wednesday night, winning the game in straight sets 25-12, 25-4, and 25-15. Jodie Salazar had 17 assists for the Vikings while Kianna Carroll picked up 10 kills in the win.
