The Nyack High School team advanced through the state semifinals in Albany Monday to win the state championship.
While in Albany, team members met Rockland state lawmakers, including state Sen. David Carlucci, D-New City, Assemblyman Kenneth Zebrowski, D-New City, and Assemblywoman Ellen Jaffee, D-Suffern.
