Nyack H.S. Football Stops Ossining in Opening Game

Indians get win in Nyack, 28-14.

Ossining opened the scoring with an early touchdown and held the lead at halftime, but the Nyack High School varsity football team took control in the second half of its opening game in Nyack on Friday night and captured a 28-14 victory.

At halftime, the game was controlled by Ossinging, with a 14-7 lead. But the Indians dominated in the second half and kept control of the game.

Nyack's senior fullback Derwohn Bartley, No. 34, lead the way to victory for the Indians, scoring two touchdowns. Bartley had 186 yards on rushing.
