Jonathan Tobin, Senior Online Editor, Commentary Magazine

Jonathan S. Tobin is senior online editor and chief political blogger of COMMENTARY magazine, America's premier monthly journal of    opinion and ideas. He covers the U.S.-Israel relationship and Middle East diplomacy as well as the American political scene on a daily basis.  Previously, he served as a columnist for the Forward, Britain's Jewish Chronicle and was the author of the "View From America" column that appeared for many years in The Jerusalem Post.  Prior to coming to COMMENTARY in January 2009,

Mr. Tobin was editor-in-chief of the Jewish Exponent  (Philadelphia) from 1998 to 2008.

 

Over the course of his career he has been honored 50 times for commentary, editorial writing and arts criticism.
