Sheriff's Department: 4 Arrested On Warrants

Charges stem from Family Court, Town Court matters.

Four Rockland County residents were arrested on court-issued warrants this week in connection with Rockland County Family Court and Orangetown Town Court matters, according to the Rockland County Sheriff’s Department.

– Mary Dickerson, 47, of Haverstraw, was arrested at 1:15 Wednesday in Garnerville on a Family Court warrant issued in connection with a support proceeding. She was released pending a Family Court hearing.

– John H. Giusto, 53, of Orangeburg, was arrested 3:55 p.m. Wednesday in Clarkstown on a warrant charging him with operating a home improvement business without a license. He was arraigned in Orangetown Town Court by Judge Paul Phinney and ordered held in the Rockland County Correctional Facility in New City on $1,000 bail pending a hearing Monday in Town Court.

– John Turnick II, 20, of West Nyack, was arrested 4 p.m. Tuesday in Suffern on a Family Court warrant charging him with violating a court order. He was arraigned in Family Court in New City and ordered held overnight in the Rockland County Correctional Facility pending a hearing Wednesday in Family Court.

– Christopher Considine, 43, of Nanuet, was arrested 10:30 a.m. Monday in Clarkstown on a Nov. 18 Family Court warrant charging him with failure to pay child support. He faces a Jan. 25, 2012 hearing in Family Court.
