Police: Nyack Resident Violated Court Order

He's charged after domestic violence investigation in Stony Point.

A Nyack resident is accused of violating a court order requiring him to stay away from another person, according to Stony Point Police.

Charles Conklin, 57, of 12 S. Highland Ave., Nyack, was arrested Wednesdasy on a charge of criminal contempt after a domestic violence investigation determined he violated a Rockland County Family Court “stay away” Order of Protection, police said.

Conklin arraigned by Stony Point Town Judge Frank Phillips and released pending a Nov. 13 hearing.
