A Stony Point man who was involved with two separate accidents has been charged with drunken driving, according to Stony Point Police.
Police said Harold J. Kreis, 56, of 7 Orchard St., Stony Point, was arrested at his home on Friday. Police said an investigation found that Kreis was intoxicated as he was involved in two accidents and fled the scene.
No one was injured in the accidents.
Kreis was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and traffic violations. He was released pending a Feb. 7 hearing in Stony Point Town Court.
