Is Your Child's Car Safety Seat Really Safe?

Before you hit the road for summer trips have your child’s safety seat checked.

There's a free safety seat check on Tuesday May 22, 2:30 – 6:30 pm, at the Jan & Niles Davies Learning Center parking lot at Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw.

The Jan & Niles Davies Learning Center is partnering with the Haverstraw Town Police Department, the Stony Point Police Department and local CPS technicians for this child safety seat check.

Technicians will be checking the condition and installation of seats, as well as potential recall status, and will arrange for alternate safety seat if necessary.
