Sister Ann Bernadette McGoldrick, 93, of the Sisters of St. Dominic of Blauvelt died Aug. 30.
The former Catherine McGoldrick was with Sisters of St. Dominic for 76 years. She received her Dominican habit July 5, 1938 and professed first vows Aug. 26, 1939. She devoted her years to education at the elementary, high school and college levels, most recently at Dominican College from 1971 to 1997. She served as historian for the congregation from 1999 until her retirement to St. Martin de Porres Infirmary in 2005.
Relatives and friends can attend services for Bernadette at St. Dominic's Convent at 496 Western Highway in Blauvelt. The wake is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with evening prayer at 6 p.m. The mass of Christian burial is set for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Dominic's Convent Cemetary.
In place of flowers, donations can be made to Sisters of St. Dominic.
