Get A Face Lift – Without The Surgery

By Peter G. Roy, DC, CFT

The cosmetic surgery business in America is a-boomin’ – to the tune of 10 billion dollars a year.  That’s a lot of cash to be throwing into tummy tucks, liposuction, and face lifts. These procedures are painful, inconvenient, expensive and risky. Moreover, the “quick fix” changes they offer usually have a limited life span. Eventually, the procedure has to be repeated and one doesn’t have to look too long to find some pretty disturbing pictures of celebrities whom have subjected themselves to repetitive procedures. Thankfully there is a way to achieve a lasting youthful appearance without going under the knife. . .exercise; but not just any kind of exercise, High Intensity Interval Resistance Training (HIIRT). Here’s why:

The human body requires regular physical exertion to maintain normal functions such as: circulation, bone strength, muscle tone and strength, joint mobility and organ function. In addition, regular vigorous exercise promotes the increased production and secretion of HGH (Human Growth Hormone) in your body. This is the “fountain of youth” hormone if ever there was one. And since exercise increases HGH levels in the blood and improves circulation to the largest organ in the body, the skin, one of the first and most noticeable changes you will see when you start exercising is a more youthful appearance in your face. But there is more to it.

While there are many ways to exercise that are safe and serve to improve one’s health and well-being, our goal here is to do those things and “lift the face” as well. That requires a singular approach to fitness. . .strength training, specifically, HIIRT. And the reason for this is simple; proper strength training promotes long, strong, toned muscles. Good muscle tone promotes the following effects that will “lift your face”:

·  Improved delivery of hydration, HGH and vital nutrients to the facial skin cells

·  Improved tone of muscles underlying the skin of the face and neck

·  Reduced “gravitational pull” from the chest on the skin of the face and neck

·  Improved posture of the shoulders, neck and head

We are seeing these changes happening universally with our bootcamp clients. And it happens very quickly. In fact, a more youthful, toned appearance in the face is one of the earliest changes we see. Incidentally, many of the other reasons for cosmetic surgery (tummy tuck, butt lift, liposuction, etc.) will receive the same benefit from HIIRT training as your face. Think how much money you could be saving, and how much better you would look and feel by spending 3 hours per week on yourself.

There are a few other things you can do to enhance the benefit of exercise on your skin and the rest of your body. They include: a diet rich in clean whole foods prepared at home, adequate daily hydration and a stress-management program such as regular meditation. That’s it in a nutshell. Add 3 hours a week of HIIRT into your life along with some good common sense nutrition and you will feel and look better longer than any plastic surgeon can make you, all while saving mad stacks of cash.
