Birchwood School Environmental Class Letter

We asked everyone in our school to sign if they agree with our letter. We sent the letter to Councilwoman Shirley Lasker, who will forward our letter to Congressman Engel, Congresswoman Lowey and Senators Schumer and Gillibrand.

To Whom It May Concern:

It has come to our attention that the White House has overruled the EPA on setting tougher smog standards. As the planet is the only home we have, it is important to keep it clean for future generations. Toward that end, it is imperative that the new EPA standards be respected and enforced by the White House. Referring to Bill H.R. 910, it is also imperative that President Obama veto the Bill.

In addition, we have discovered that Lisa Jackson may be leaving her post as EPA Administrator. We would like her to stay so that she can make the changes needed so that the world can be a better place to live.
