Downtown Nyack was filled Sunday for the 2012 VCS Gay Pride Rockland celebration.
The event brings together LGBT community members, local shop keepers, religious leaders, non-profit agencies and elected officials with the mission of affirming the dignity of all LGBT people, their families, friends, and allies who live in every hamlet, village and town in Rockland County.
At the same time, the event is designed to help transform the stereotypes that so adversely impact the LGBT community.
