Volunteer for Nyack Community Clean Up

The Nyack Pour House is sponsoring seasonal community-wide clean up events in the village in conjunction with Keep Rockland Beautiful, says Nancy Phillips, vice-president of the Nyack Chamber of Commerce.

Citizens who would like to lend a hand in keeping Nyack beautiful, those in need of community service hours and others can volunteer for these events, which will be held in spring, summer, fall and winter.

The first event will take place on April 26 as part of the Nyack Community Clean
Up which is part of the Keep America Beautiful Campaign.

Volunteers will meet at the Nyack Center between 9am and 11am to be given their assigned area. The Pour House will be donating gloves to the volunteers and light refreshments.
