Here's what you should be doing this weekend

It's Thursday, and you have no idea what you'll do for the weekend.

  • Where/When:  19 Main St, Nyack, Saturday from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.
  • Why go: Music, drinks, and a beautiful backdrop, what more can you ask for?

  • Why go: There's a little bit for everyone at this street fair, whether you want food, drinks, crafts and more!
  • Pricing: Free

  • Where/When: Night of Columbus in Blauvelt, Sunday from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Why go: To raise money for the family of Keith Furey who died of colon cancer, there will be an auction, music, food and more.
  • Pricing: $30 for adult, $10 for children

 

 4. The Orange County Fair

  • Where/When: Orange County Fairgrounds, July 15th through July 31st
  • Why go: Bring the whole family to check out pigs, cows, goats and beyond!
  • Pricing:  $8 for adults, $5 for children, under 5 are free

 

 5. Sangria Festival

  • Where/When: Belmarl Winery, Marlboro NY, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. 
  • Why go: You get to taste the sangria and the wine, plus keep the glass! Also enjoy flamenco dancing and live music, so make the short drive up!
  • Pricing: $20

 

6. Movies in the Park

  • Where/When: Emeline Park, Haverstraw, Saturday at 7 p.m. 
  • Why go: Start the evening off with some jazz music, followed by Raiders of the Lost Ark while snuggling under the stars.
  • Pricing: free

 

7. Guided Photography Park Walk

  • Where/When: Dater Mountain Nature Park, Saturday at 9 a.m. 
  • Why go: Observe nature and get healthy all on a beautifull summer morning.
  • Pricing: free
