• Why go: A great family friendly event full of vendors, activities and entertainment, including a performance by the Big Apple Circus!

• Where/When: Clarkstown High School North; Friday at 7 p.m.  
• Why go: Be amazed with the talent at a local high school, plus get a sneak peak at this year's prom attire from local vendors. Proceeds go to CHSN's project graduation fund. 
• Pricing: $5

4. Sassy Ladies Shopping Night

• Where/When: The DoubleTree Hotel in Tarrytown; Friday at 6 p.m.  
• Why go: Music, drinks, food and fashion tips; raffles will be for sale for chances to win awesome prizes.
• Pricing: $10 in advance or $15 at the door  

5. First Friday Film Series screens Robert Altman's classic GOSFORD PARK

• Where/When: ; Friday at 7:30 p.m. 
• Why go: Friday night is movie night—go out with your friends and see a different kind of movie than today's blockbusters that will get you thinking.
