Weekend Happenings: Parades, Music and Alec Baldwin

Some exciting things to check out this coming weekend!

It's Thursday, and you have no idea what you'll do for the weekend.

  • Where/When: South Main Street and East Central Avenue in Pearl River; Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
  • Why go: It's the Pearl River St. Patrick's Day Parade, the biggest one outside of NYC, and everyone is going to be there! 
  • Pricing: free

  • Where/When: Suffern Middle School Auditorium, Thursday through Saturday at 7 p.m.
  • Why go: Who can resist a fun loving singing red-headed orphan?  
  • Pricing: $8 for adults, $6 for students and senior citizens

  • Where/When: Felix Festa Middleschool, Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  
  • Why go: Carnival games, prizes, and tons of Chili of course, all to support Clarkstown schools!
  • Pricing: $5 for children, $10 for adults, $25 for families (admission includes unlimited food and carnival games)

4. Hudson Valley Restaurant Week

  • Where/When: Assorted restaurants across the Hudson Valley until March 27th 
  • Why go: Sometimes it is scary to try a new restaurant especially when the menu contains unfamiliar dishes, but thanks to Restaurant Week 3 course meals at some of the best places for a small price.
  • Pricing: $20 for lunch, $28 for dinner (reservations recommended)

  • Where/When: Nyack High School, Saturday from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
