This Weekend: Sketch Comedy, Walking Tour

With the work week nearing its end, check out this list of just a few things you can do around the county this weekend:

• When/Where - Friday 8 & 10 p.m., Saturday 8 p.m. & 10 p.m. at Nyack Village Theater, located at 94 Main Street, Nyack.
• Why Go - Check out one this weekend’s four shows of all original sketch comedy. You can get tickets online or at the door.
• Pricing - Students/Seniors - $13 online, $15 at the door. Adults - $15 online, $17 at the door.

• When/Where - Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Flip ‘n Dip, located at 228 E. Route 59, Nanuet.
• Why Go - Enjoy some frozen yogurt or other treats while helping to raise money for students in Nanuet. When you mention the fund, proceeds from the sale will be donated to the fund.
• Pricing - Free.

• Why Go - Join Docent Jack Bloom on this 2-mile walk through the park to learn about the movie business’ ties to New City.

• Why Go - Attend the workshop hosted by Robin Ingram from the Westchester Area Basketmakers Guild to learn about basket making.
