Upper Grandview Home Sells for $1.3 Million

Real estate listings and recent sales in Nyack, Piermont and surrounding communities

The local real estate market has been experiencing a healthy amount of home sales over the past few weeks—the area saw 35 properties go into contract and 29 homes title transfer.

Three of these homes sold for over a $1.2 million, and our featured home fits the bill. The 5,000-square-foot contemporary home—located at 121 Tweed Boulevard in Upper Grandview—was originally listed for $2,199,000 back in May of 2011.

Perched high above the Hudson with ample views, this modern home features high ceilings and windows, a wrap around deck with 180-degree views of Rockland and custom designed features throughout.

The home recently closed for $1.3 million.

Pending deals of note include a 1948 brick cape at 10 Prall Place listed at $599,000, an award-winning 1868 Victorian home at 70 Clinton Ave in South Nyack listed at $829,000, and a 6,600-square-foot mansion on 24 acres at 1 Old Stone Road in Valley Cottage listed at $1,479,000.

In addition, the local market has seen 35 new listings hit the market; I would say that the spring market is moving along at a solid pace.
