West Nyack’s Cone Zone officially opened back up on Friday for its 17th season in business.
The store had been closed about four months prior to that for winter, said owner Donna Narciso, adding it could’ve been longer if it was a more traditional snow-filled winter.
“We probably opened up a couple of weeks early because it so was nice out,” she said.
She added that this year she’ll be bringing back the YoCream Yogurt, which she had a few years ago. Narciso expects it to show up for the first time on Tuesday.
Outside of that, people can expect what they’ve come to love about Cone Zone, Narciso said, including the “friendly service, clean atmosphere and quality product.” Cone Zone also offers soft serve ice cream, hard ice cream, cakes and, of course, there’s the glace, a fat free, low-carb treat.
“People really love it,” she said. “We mix it here and it really fills you up.”
