Boulders Modify Easter Break Youth Baseball, Softball Camp Because of Weather

Spring tune-up camp now set for Tuesday to Thursday; Tuesday session at St. Lawrence Center in Hillburn.

Mother Nature isn't cooperating with a plan by the Rockland Boulders to give local kids a chance to warm up for their Spring 2013 baseball and softball seasons on the field at Provident Bank Park.

Because of anticipated weather conditions, the Boulders say the Youth Tune-Up Camp, presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods and Hardball, NY, will now be held from Tuesday through Thursday, March 26-28. On Tuesday, the camp is set to take place at the indoor athletic bubble at the Joseph T. St. Lawrence Center in Hillburn, at 115 Torne Valley Road.

However, the Wednesday and Thursday sessions are still scheduled for Provident Bank Park as originally planned. Looking at the weather forecast, the Boulders are hoping to be able to offer the training program for kids 7 to 14 at the baseball stadium in Pomona.
