Create a colorful garden of fresh flowers that you can bring home! Using a myriad of spring flowers and flowering branches, students will learn the characteristics of a “vegetative” style floral arrangement, perfect for ushering in the spring season. You are welcome, but not required to use your own container, medium sized (6” – 8”) vessel that holds water. Please bring a sharp pair of snips and a pair of wood cutters.
Instructor: Ken Norman, Jr., AIFD is a third generation florist. He works at his family’s retail florist, Colony Florist and Gifts, in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Mr. Norman is a FTD Master Designer and he is an award winning designer whose work has been published in numerous magazines. He is an instructor at the prestigious New York Botanical Garden.
Fee: $25 Non-members, $20 Members, Plus $30 Materials fees.
