When Cooking Is a Date

The Food Evolution "Date Night" cooking class is a healthy and rejuvenative respite for couples

Diane Hoch, CHC, founded The Food Evolution in 2010.

“I realized that there was a need for a place that teaches people that healthy cooking can be easy and rewarding,” she explained.

“When you come to The Food Evolution and prepare health-supportive meals that taste delicious, you leave feeling energized with a desire to want to continue to eat healthier long after you leave one of your classes," she added. "Good health is contagious, and we change people’s lives.”

The Food Evolution is the first nutrition and cooking center of its kind in Rockland County, and they have a special springtime “Date Night” just for couples. A three-hour nutrition and cooking class where couples prepare and enjoy a full course meal—normally priced at $200—is being offered now through April 30. (And there's a special price for Patch readers: $150 per couple.) Call for class availability, and remember to say you saw it on Patch to receive the discount.

You may also visit The Food Evolution website for specific dates and times for singles and couples classes.

“We truly believe in the importance of vitamin L, because we put love in all our food," Hoch added. "You can taste the difference.”
