Part of Nyack: Power Back On

Power has been restored to the Nyack hospital grid

Nyack is buzzing as streetlights and parts of downtown is waking up again with power. O&R restored power to the section of Nyack that the hospital is on, which includes one side of Main Street, said Mayor Jen Laird-White.

"The hospital, like all emergency places, is (one of the first places) to get power," she said. "Nyack Hospital is struggling to do any routine surgeries. Thankfully they have been restored as well as those lucky enough to get power on the hospital's (power) grid."
