6th Annual fundraising event set for March 3 at Nyack's Memorial Park.

South Nyack-Grand View Police Officer Barbara Noyes had a brief new role on TV Friday - as a guest forecaster on WPIX-11.

She was there to talk about the upcoming Penguin Plunge in Nyack, the annual fundraising event that she helps organized. The 6th Penguin Plunge is set for March 3 at noon at Memorial Park.

The Penguin Plunge helps support families coping with medical crisis. This year, the plunge supports Max and Bree Hershkowitz from New Hempstead and Isabella Ruggiero from Harrington Park, NJ.
