Nyack Classic Car Cruise Set for Thursday

Vintage and specialty vehicles will be on display for the Nyack Chamber of Commerce's Second Annual Classic Car Cruise from 5 p.m. to dusk Thursday in Nyack's Main Street parking lot.

"This community-centered event promises to once again attract a strong showing of car enthusiasts — people who take pride in owning and maintaining special vehicles as well as people who appreciate them,” said Nyack Chamber of Commerce President Scott Baird.  “It’s also a great opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy the Village’s unique restaurants, boutiques and service businesses."

Admission to the show is free, as is registration for display cars. The Rockland Rodders will conduct a 50/50 auction during the event with the money raised going to the Wounded Warrior Project

DJ Rockin Richie Lea will provide music. Entertainment will also include face painting by Jamie's Faces  and Star Blossom Goddess's balloon art.

"Visitors can expect not only to see beautifully maintained vintage and specialty cars, but also to enjoy a fun night out with friends and family," said event organizer Mark Mangan.  "Our exhibitors, entertainers and sponsors are planning a great show, so everyone will have a memorable night in Nyack.

“We’re also proud to support the Wounded Warrior Project. It’s a great cause that gives back to our family members, friends and neighbors who have put themselves in harm’s way to protect us all.”

The Pour House, STS Tire, Palisades Auto Sales and the Rockland Rodders Association are all sponsors of Thursday's event.

The rain date for Nyack Classic Car Cruise would be Thursday, July 18. For more information or to register a vehicle, contact Mangan at NyackCarNight@gmail.com.
