ST. THOMAS AQUINAS COLLEGE ANNOUNCES
NEW DIRECTOR OF MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

(August 19, 2013-Sparkill, NY) – St. Thomas Aquinas College recently appointed Danielle (Mac Kay) Kobryn to Director of Enrollment Marketing and Campus Communications, announced Vin Crapanzano, Senior Vice President at the College.

Kobryn (Ridgefield, NJ) joined the College in 2003 as an admissions counselor; was promoted to Associate Director of Enrollment Marketing in 2005; and was promoted to Director of Admissions in 2008, where she served until being selected for her new position last month. In her new role she coordinates the editing, production and distribution of college publications; writes, edits and distributes news and publicity releases; oversees all advertising campaigns; contracts and serves as liaison to external agencies on the college’s web site and branding campaigns; and coordinates media inquiries about the college, its employees and students.

Kobryn received her B.A. degree from Rutgers University (NJ), her M.A. degree from Seton Hall University (NJ), was a member of the Leadership Rockland Class of 2008, and received Rockland Economic Development Corporation’s “Forty Under 40” award in 2008.

“Danielle brought a marketing approach to the Director of Admissions role and expanded our admissions marketing efforts” says Crapanzano. “Danielle’s comprehensive understanding of St. Thomas Aquinas College will be beneficial in pushing our branding and marketing efforts to new heights” he added.

As Director of Admissions, Kobryn implemented strategies and developed an effective enrollment management plan. She supervised a team of ten professionals and oversaw the operations of the department. Kobryn was responsible for the successful recruitment and cultivation of all new traditional undergraduate students, transfer students, graduate, and international students each year. She served on the search committee for the new Director of Admissions earlier this year.
