Worker Accused of Stealing Cash from Store
Police: Nearly $2,000 believe stolen over two months at Macy's in West Nyack.
A worker at a West Nyack department store is accused in the theft of nearly $2,000 from the store over the past two months, according to Clarkstown police.
Folaskye Pierre-Louis, 25, of Spring Valley was arrested after store security staff at Macy's at Palisades Center mall reported seeing him remove a $20 bill from a cash regisater and put it into his pocket at about 10:25 p.m. on Friday. It is believed that Pierre-Louis is responsible for stealing about $1,980, police said.
Pierre-Louis is charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He was released pending an Oct. 10 hearing in Clarkstown Town Court in New City.
