Blue Christmas Service at the Clarkstown Reformed Church

Blue Christmas Service at the Clarkstown Reformed Church

For some people Christmas is not the merry time. They may be old and alone, they may have lost a loved one, they may feel discouraged and dejected, and at this time of year all the carols, cards, and wishes of a Merry Christmas feel empty to them.
Yet Christmas is an important religious day, a day of hope as well as joy; a day when Angels still bring glad tidings even to the dejected.

At the Clarkstown Reformed Church on Christmas day at 10:30 a.m. we will be celebrating a quiet Christmas service: no carols, no music, but people gathering to hear the Christmas story and find hope in it.

If you or anyone you know would like to gather for a quiet celebration of Christmas with others who also are having a hard time being jolly please join us. The service will be simple, we will celebrate the Lord's supper, and there will be refreshments afterwards for those who wish to stay
