Nyack's hallmark Hudson House has a storied history—for starters, it's located in the former village hall and…More jailhouse. To this day two of the original jail cells remain, and house the restaurant's wine cellar. Many other original facets remain, as well.
The Hudson House's downstairs serves dinner daily (except Mondays) in addition to lunch/brunch. The upstairs, where the village court was once held, is another dining room for private gatherings. The restaurant also features a full bar and outside patio dining.
The restaurant's executive chef Christopher Dunn creates daily specials with fish, meats, pastas and more. The co-owner and baker Matt Hudson's desserts compliment Dunn's work and are know county-wide.
