On Friday, it took 4 calls to town hall to finally find someone who could tell me anything aboutRead More this 5,000 cyclist bike race. The police didn't even know the details and it wasn't on the town hall website! Very disappointing to this Clarkstown resident.

Wow really? I grew up in that park playing Little League as a kid and pickup basketball games andRead More even thru the 70's and 80's when I down there alot you may have had a stray dog run thru and leave a gift. But in Nyack now people are actually on sight with there dogs allowing this? I guess when you see no one around its ok? My son plays ball on that court so does my niece, I guess kids the kids and adults who play on that court don't count. Dogs gotta be pampered.. if i was a tax payer I'd be mad as hell. A beautiful court and its being used as a dumping ground...literally. Put up cameras, that will hopefully stop it or at least identify the people that think this is OK. We are about too on my mom's property which isn't far from there because her lawn is being used as the same thing, people don't care anymore, well they do just more about there dogs then people.

I am a dog lover and I think that anyone walking or letting their dog on the basketball court shouldRead More be told or warned NOT to do that. The key words are " basketball courts" not dog park. No one should be allowed on the courts with dogs...even if you clean up after. It is not for that use..it is for BASKETBALL use. Common sense dictates that dogs will relieve themselves of both kinds of waste..why allow this to continue. Anyone caught allowing their dog or dogs to be there should be fined...with repeat offenders getting higher fines. Seems logical to me. The answer shouldn't be cleaning, the answer should be to ban that type of use by dog owners. Simple to me.

Although there's a dog park in South Nyack, do you think there should be one in Nyack? If so, whereRead More should it be placed?
