The O'Donoghue family has been involved with this pub since the 1940s. Paul O'Donoghue, Sr. bought the place in 1960, and Kevin took the business over from his dad in 1980. The bar has many beers on tap including Guinness, Coors Light and Smithwicks. The dinner menu ranges from seafood and steak to soups, salads and excellent burgers and is served either at the bar or in the back dining room. On many nights local musicians gather for impromptu jams.
