Nyack's Little Schoolhouse

Nyack's Little Schoolhouse offers preschool programs in a small group setting. The school emphasizes free and structured play to promote physical, social and mental development. It incorporates a variety of teaching methods to best suit young pupils, including Montessori, Regio Emilia, High Scope and Waldorf. Children participate in arts and crafts, circle time with stories, songs and poems, math, science, storytelling, foreign language, yoga and music. All staff members are CPR and first-aid certified and undergo a least 30 hours of professional training a year.
