Provident Bank Park Home Run Sale and Toy Drive

  • Where: Provident Bank Park at 1 Provident Bank Park Drive in Pomona
  • When: Saturday, Dec. 14 at 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Description: Participants receive one ticket voucher for the Rockland Boulders' 2014 season per unopened toy donated. The team is partnering with Active International for this event. Boulder Bird will be available for pictures from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Most retail items will be discounted between 25 percent and 50 percent. 
Holiday Pet Pictures to Benefit Rebuild Hi-Tor
  • Where: Camp Bow Wow at 101 Route 304 in Bardonia
  • When: Saturday, Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. 
  • Cost: Framed 4 X 6 print costs $10. Dog baths range from $25 to $40, depending on the size of the dog
  • Description: Take pictures with Santa Claus, the kids and your pets. All proceeds from framed prints and $5 from each dog bath go to Rebuild Hi-Tor. Find out more at www.RebuildHiTor.org
Ring in the Holidays with the Rockland Choral Society
  • Where: Living Christ Churcy at 151 S. Broadway in Nyack
  • When: Saturday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m.
  • Cost: $20 for the general public, $15 for students and seniors
  • Description: The Rockland County Choral Society will perform seasonal music selections. They wil be joined by soprano Michele Sorel of Nyack and the Handbell Choir of Pearl river United Methodist Church. For reservations, call (845) 418-6225 or email info@rocklandchoral.org.
Catherine Redmond Art Exhibition Opening
  • Where: 241 Kings Highway in Orangeburg
  • When: Saturday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m.
  • Cost: Free

Greenbush Presbyterian Church Bonfire
  • Where: Greenbush Presbyterian Church at 614 Western Highway in Blauvelt
  • When: Sunday, Dec. 15 at 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Cost: Free
  • Description: Join in singing winter and holiday carols around the bonfire at this free event. There will be cookies, hot chocolate and cider available. Dress warmly.
