These government offices and other services are either closing early or closed for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
- Rockland County government offices are open on New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 31 for regular hours but some departments may close early. All offices are closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014.
- Orangetown Town Hall will be closed on Wednesday, New Year’s Day, and regular hours will resume on Thursday.
- Recycling pick-up normally scheduled for Wednesday in Orangetown will instead be picked up Saturday, Jan. 4.
- Nyack Village Hall will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
- Nyack Library closes at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and will remain closed all day Wednesday.
- Dennis P. McHugh Public Library in Piermont is closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
- The Shops At Nanuet will be open on Tuesday, New Year’s Eve, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- The Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday. On New Year’s Day, Wednesday, the mall will be from 10 a.m. until 9:30 p.m.
