Nyack: Doing Time to Raise Money
Nyack Seaport will be a holding cell Wednesday to raise money for MDA
What's the easiest way to raise money for a good cause?
Put yourself in jail with bond set at $2,400—and then persuade family, co-workers, friends and other community-minded folks to help you make bail.
Colin Cosell, grandson of legendary sports broadcaster Howard Cosell, will be the master of ceremonies this Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nyack Seaport for the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s (MDA) “locking up” event. The MDA is a non-profit organization that funds international research in hopes of curing muscular dystrophy and similar diseases.
