JCC Rockland Seeks Young Athletes For 2012 Maccabi Games

JCC Rockland is on a quest to get 300 local athletes to participate in the upcoming 2012 JCC Maccabi Games, which is being hosted by JCC Rockland from Aug. 12-17.

As many as 1,500 athletes from around the United States and abroad are expected to participate in the annual youth games. In Rockland, tryouts have begun for team sports and continue through Sunday.

If planning to attend at tryout, contact Carrie Sakin at carries@jccrockland.org or 845-362-4400, ext. 172. Also, contact JCC Rockland for more information or if there is a tryout scheduling conflict.

Most try-outs take place in the Eisenkraft Gymnasium at JCC Rockland, 450 West Nyack Road, West Nyack.
