Fun For The Family: Fire Department Carnival

West Nyack Fire Department offers rides, music, food at annual carnival at Germonds Park.

Looking for something fun for the whole family this weekend? Check out the West Nyack Fire Department's annual fundraising carnival at Germonds Park.

The carnival runs through the weekend, from 4 to 10 p.m. tonight and Sunday. There are lots of rides, games, plenty of of food and treats and there's music from two different groups.

Tonight, there is bluez, jazz and classic rock by Russ Gurney's Blues On Tap, with the New Hearts playing rock on Sunday.

Admission is free and you can buy a $25 pay-one-price pass for unlimited rides each night at the carnival. The West Nyack Fire Department has discount coupons on its web site (check out the flier attached to this story).

And, what's a carnival without fireworks? Fireworks are set for Sunday night.

The is the seventh year the all-volunteer fire department has held a carnival to raise funds to support its efforts.

Germonds Park is located on Germonds Road in West Nyack.
