Westchester County Center Gears Up for Golf Show

Patch gives away 10 sets of tickets

Looking forward to leaving the cold weather behind, packing up your irons and teeing off?

Patch helped golfers prepare for the golf season by offering 10 pairs of tickets, free, to the that opens Saturday in White Plains. The deadline for entry was 1 p.m. today, and residents from Westchester and Rockland were selected as winners in a random drawing.

The Golf Show features merchandise, pro panelists, new products, a putting green, driving range and more.

I guess better late than never. LaCorte is serving his 4th year as Mayor and was Trustee for I thinkRead More 4 years before that. This year is the only time he has brought the idea to the village about participating in this program. He is motivated by the opportunity of getting positive press for his County Executive campaign. The village should have been involved in this program ( as well as the Americorps program) long before this. On a positive note, hopefully the Village will continue this worthwhile partnership for many years to come.
