After the long weekend, both Nyack and Clarkstown South faced off against some difficult competition. Nyack’s soccer team fell at Ossining while Clarkstwon South’s field hockey team lost at home. The Viking soccer team did manage a tie against Pearl River.

Score: Nyack Lost 4-1
Highlights: The Indians fell at Ossining 4-1 on Tuesday night. Julianne Cummings had 9 saves in the defeat and Taryn Brady scored the lone goal for Nyack of a Laila Rothchild assist.

Game: Pearl River @ Clarkstown South
Score: Teams Tied 3-3
Highlights: The Vikings and Pirates tied at 3 on Tuesday night at Clarkstown South High School. Pearl River used three players to score in Marissa Scognamiglio, Emily Aristizabal, and Amanda Hartigan while Francesca Cobuzzi held down the goal with 13 saves. Clarkstown South’s Christina Jean-Charles led the way with two scores as Brianna McMahon added a goal and two assists.

Game: Pelham @ Clarkstown South
Score: Clarkstown South Lost 2-1
Highlights: Pelham picked up the road victory on the strength 12 saves from Caroline Fink and goals from Melissa Capurro and Chandler Solimine. In the losing effort Casie Keegan had five saves while Michelle Jordan picked up the loan goal for the Vikings.

In girl’s soccer, Clarkstown South is home against North Rockland for a 7pm night game.
In girl’s tennis, Clarkstown North and South will square off at 4 at the Rams.
In volleyball, Nyack will head to Nanuet for a 5:15 match.
In volleyball, East Ramapo will come into to Clarkstown South for a match up at 4.
In field hockey, Nyack will travel to Pearl River to take on the Pirates at 4.
