Long-Time Coach Castellano Returns With Poughkeepsie at Nyack

John Castellano won two state championships and 180 games during 23 years as Nyack High School's head football coach, which ended when he left after the 2010 season to become an assistant coach at Don Bosco Prep School in New Jersey.

Castellano, who still teaches in Nyack, returns as head coach for Poughkeepsie (0-4), which will play Nyack (3-1) 7 p.m. Friday at MacCalman Field in Nyack.

Nyack, which opened the season with three consecutive victories, will try to rebound after last week's loss to Sleepy Hollow.
