Rockland College Baseball Teams Open Conference Tournaments
Dominican College and St. Thomas Aquinas College will both open conference tournament play this afternoon.
The No. 2 seeded Dominican College baseball team opens the CACC Tournament 3 p.m. today against No. 6 Chestnut Hill College at New Castle, Del. - Wilson Stadium
Dominican (28-20) is ranked No. 10 in the national Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) East Region Poll. St. Thomas Aquinas College is No. 2.
STAC (35-11) won the ECC regular-season championship and will open the tournament 3 p.m. today against No. 4 Bridgeport at Dowling College in Brookhaven, N.Y. STAC enters the tournament on a 13-game winning streak. The Spartans were unable to host the tournament due to a scheduling conflict at Provident Bank park.
