Sailboat Racing on the Hudson River

As you stroll the Nyack Street Fair or enjoy Sunday brunch on the patio at La Fontana, don’t forget to glance casually toward the Hudson River. On Sunday afternoons, you will be entertained by the sailboats scattered across a sailing race course set to maximize use of wind, waves and current. As the boats cruise around race marks set by the Race Committee at Nyack Boat Club, they create a luscious tableau that contributes to Nyack backdrop and harkens to the days when Nyack’s harbor provided the first stop for water transport up the Hudson from Manhattan.

Come join us on the water or enjoy the view from the shore.
