On Sunday afternoons, you will be entertained by the sailboats scattered across a sailing race course set to maximize use of wind, waves and current. As the boats cruise around race marks set by the Race Committee at Nyack Boat Club, they create a luscious tableau that contributes to Nyack backdrop and harkens to the days when Nyack’s harbor provided the first stop for water transport up the Hudson from Manhattan.
