Nyack-Valley Cottage Seeks Spot in Title Game

The Nyack-Valley Cottage Little League 9-10 all-stars will face West Nyack tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Liberty Field in Valley Cottage for a spot in the finals of the District 18 championship.
The winner will face Suffern, which has not lost a game, Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. at Liberty Field. The winner will have to beat Suffern twice to win the title, with the second game in the championship series coming Friday night at 7:30 at Liberty Field, if necessary.

Regional Summer Basketball Teams Set
The second annual Basketball Coaches Association of New York Summer Hoops Festival will take place in August at Johnson City High School, which is a bit outside of Binghamton.
There will be nine teams, including one from the Hudson Valley. The boys and girls teams were recently finalized and feature players from all over Rockland and Westchester counties.
