The annual Dave Siegriest Baseball Tournament will be held on May 11 and 12. Coach Siegriest spent years on the Nyack sidelines before succumbing to Pancreatic cancer.

“Dave was extremely successful as a coach and a true prince of man,” Joe Sigillo said in an email to Patch.

This Coaches vs. Cancer event will begin with a pregame ceremony at 7 p.m. in Coach Siegriest’s honor.

Harrison will play Sleepy Hollow at 4:30 p.m.

Nyack will take on Albertus Magnus at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday’s consolation game will begin at 4 p.m. with the championship scheduled for 7 p.m.
